Tony Zhang is a specialist in the financial services industry with over a decade of experience spanning product development, research and market strategist roles across equities, foreign exchange and derivatives. As the current Head of Product Strategy for OptionsPlay, Tony leads the research and development of their OptionsPlay Ideas & Portfolio platform. 

He has leveraged his interest in financial technology and product development to provide innovative, reimagined solutions to clients and the users they seek to serve. Previously he spent 7 years at FOREX.com with a capital markets and research background as a market strategist specializing in equity and FX derivatives markets.

Edward J. Modla is Director of Retail Education for The Options Industry Council(OIC). In this role, he oversees retail education programs which promote the responsible use of listed equity options. He represents OIC by creating and presenting educational events in both online and in-person formats, serving as a guest speaker on panels, hosting a monthly podcast with industry personnel, and working with the media. Also, he has a lead position in the production of options curricula, Web content, advertising, and the development of strategic business partnerships. Mr. Modla has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry beginning as an options market maker with Hull Trading Company before moving into the futures brokerage business with MF Global and, in 2014, joining the OIC team.


Richard Ho, senior manager equity derivatives at TMX Montréal Exchange has been in the financial industry for over 15 years. Prior to joining TMX in 2006, he worked with a national brokerage firm in executing trades for active and high net worth clients. In his current role as senior manager equity derivatives, Richard leads various education initiatives and partnerships with brokerage firms. His aim is to help self-directed investors adapt to the use of equity options with a focus on developing and strategizing option portfolios for directional trading with predefined risk parameters. He also runs programs to show investors how to use option strategies to generate consistent income and to hedge their portfolios during times of high volatility.

Richard is a derivative market specialist (DMS) by designation and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) charterholder. Striving to help investors elevate their knowledge about options, Richard is a proud member of the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®) and shows leadership through various speaking and 
academic contributions.

Roli Jain

Roli Jain has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry working with firms such as Credit Suisse, JPMorgan Chase, TD Securities and Deutsche Bank in New York and Toronto. Her diversified experience in capital markets includes options strategy, research, quantitative analysis and programming, trading listed equity derivatives, Advisory, and risk management.

Roli has a passion for options and how markets move. She leverages her experience in programming and data analysis to understand the ins and outs of options. Furthermore, she has experience in developing strategies for exchange-listed options.

Roli obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Toronto in Computer Science & Statistics and then earned a Master of Business Administration at City University of Seattle. She rounded off her education with a Master of Arts in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University.

Currently, Roli lives in Toronto and creates online courses, such as Advanced Option Strategies, and runs workshops on capital markets for M.B.A students at Rotman & Ivey, in order to help them reach their career goals and further their financial knowledge.
